What type of Individual Information does MileageManager collect?
MileageManager collects personal data such as your name, street address, telephone
number, billing information, email address, and individual account data (i.e., your
frequency account numbers and PINs or Passwords) when you enroll in this Service.
This information is required in order to provide you with all of the benefits of the
Service. You can update or edit this personal data from any page on the
Web site. We use your account information to retrieve your frequency data, which is
reported on your Account Summaries. We gather this data on your behalf,
for your benefit only. You are in no way authorizing MileageManager to redeem,
transfer, or otherwise add or deduct miles or points from any of your accounts.
We may also collect billing information such as credit card type, number, and expiration date. A third party company will verify your credit card information. The verifying company is contractually bound not to use your information for any other reason.
Like most Internet Web sites, we collect and store certain Navigational Information, such as data on the choices you make among the range of available content and the times and ways you access such. In addition, we log IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types for internal quality assurance matters and to assess technical capabilities of our site. The information is not tied to any personally identifiable information.
MileageManager retains all electronic communications for quality assurance, dispute resolution or servicing of the customer. We may also keep written communications to our Customer Service department. The email system serving the site retains the contents of private email communications for a limited time frame. There is no guarantee that such forms of correspondence will or will not be retained. Consequently, if you wish to preserve copies of any communications, you should store such communications on your personal computer hard drive or in print form.
How is my Individual Information protected and secured?
Our number one priority is customer trust. We understand the need
for our customers' personal data to be completely secure and private, and we have
designed an advanced and highly sophisticated system to protect our customers'
Individual Information.
MileageManager maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your Individual Information. Customer Individual Information is stored in encrypted format in our database, and is transmitted in that encrypted format within the network. This database is also kept behind sophisticated firewalls for added security.
The database is physically protected at a secure, third-party site and is monitored by security personnel twenty-four hours a day. We safeguard Individual Information from unauthorized access and only authorized employees or agents who need to carry out legitimate business functions are permitted access to Individual Information. In addition, employees are educated on our privacy and security policies and access to data is limited to only those employees who need it to perform their job functions. Employees who violate privacy policies are subject to disciplinary actions, up to and including termination where appropriate.
MileageManager ensures the privacy of your data sent across the Internet by using Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to prevent unauthorized access, tampering with, or intercepting of your data. The site has several links to other Web sites, and is not responsible for the privacy policies or security of these other Web sites or their programs.

We reserve the right to use cookies to deliver content specific to your needs and interests. We may also use cookies to track user trends and patterns in order to better understand and improve areas of our sites that our users find valuable. These cookies are not linked to personally identifiable information.

retained for at least 90 days after the termination of the Service unless otherwise
requested by the customer. However, we do not guarantee that such data
will be retained and restorable upon the reactivation of a membership. Customers can
request upon the termination of the Service to have their Personal Information purged.
